Dr. Nan-Qi Ren, Director of State Key Lab of Urban Water Resource and Environment, was elected to the Member of China Academy of Engineering in 2009 and the Fellow of IWA in 2011. His research interests include bio-hydrogen production technology, microbe molecular ecology of anaerobic bio-treatment system, bio-treatment process of high strength and hard-degraded organic industrial wastewater, POPs in water, air and soil, R&D of novel wastewater treatment technique and equipment, etc.
