PhD Paola Fontana is an Agronomy Engineer from the National University of Tucumán, Argentina. She had her Master Science degree in Agronomy Sciences in the National University of Córdoba and is PhD in Biological Sciences of the National University of Tucumán. Currently is a senior researcher at INTA, Genetic breeding, genetic resources and molecular biology area. She coordinates the Project: “Genetic breeding and ideotype development of industrial crops (sugarcane, peanut, yerba mate, cassava, stevia, quinoa and tea) for resilient productive systems”. She published numerous papers in scientific journals and book chapters and she is supervisor and co-supervisor of postgraduate fellows.
