Abstract

Food waste is a concern recently. Food bank is a good way to save food, especially food waste from groceries. Stressing groceries donating food waste to the food bank needs government to make laws or policies. Apart from getting an advantage from tax, groceries also save money on the disposal of food waste. Extending the distribution days, advertising the food in popular ways, and letting the client make their preference of food are some good ways to a minimum the food waste in the food bank. Food banks are a more effective response not only to the problems of hunger and food insecurity but for saving water and energy
